Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
Dear Friends and Compatriots
In the context of my responsibilities as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary accredited to the Kingdom of Belgium, to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and head of the Mission of the Republic of Angola to the European Union, together with my colleagues at the Embassy, centrally appointed officials and local contractors, we all strive for the best possible performance, gearing our activities towards:
(i)Achieving results; (ii)Deepening bilateral cooperation, including South-South cooperation within the scope of the OEACP; (iii)Bringing the business and academic sectors of our countries and the European Union closer together, in order to put them at the service of the economy; (IV)Promoting Angola's potential with a view to mobilising resources through the IPD; (v)Always placing the resident Angolan community at the centre of our concerns, and our activity must therefore be governed by the principles enshrined in the Constitution, of which we would highlight the principles of administrative simplification, bringing services closer to the communities and, of course, the principles of equality and legality.
Today, the Republic of Angola is clearly a different country, a country that has gained a new lease of life and has a new paradigm
The improvement in the business environment, to which the prevalence of the law in relations between citizens, between institutions and citizens and between institutions and each other, the robustness of institutions and, of course, the improvement in economic and social development indices in line with the SDGs, make the Republic of Angola, led by H.E. President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, an unavoidable country, also due to the importance it attaches and the role it plays in finding solutions to the increasingly complex issues on the international and regional agenda.
We would like to invite you to visit Angola in person and/or virtually: (i) a country with a welcoming people; (ii) a country where the majority of its population is young; (iii) a country with immense business opportunities; (iv) an excellent country for leisure tourism and ecotourism, of which we would like to highlight its biodiversity and the beauty of the Kissama, Iona and Cangandala national parks, the Calandula falls and the greatness of the OKAVANGO project.
Visit Angola!
