The Angolan community resident in the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is estimated at more than 8,500 citizens, of whom 5,593 (five thousand five hundred and ninety-three five citizens) are registered in the Consular Sector of the MD.

However, only 2,667 are legalised by the Belgian authorities. The main centres of concentration of Angolans in the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg are the cities of Brussels, Verviers, Liege, Antwerp, Mons, Coutrais, La Louvière and Aalst and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
