OEACP. Angola presents its 2023-2025 strategy.

The Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities Abroad, Domingos Custódio Vieira Lopes, presented at the OEACP headquarters in Brussels the main priorities of Angola's 2023-2025 Presidency Strategy for the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States.

According to Domingos Custódio Vieira Lopes, the Republic of Angola has greater responsibilities.

 Domingos Custódio Vieira Lopes presented Angola's strategy during the 116th meeting of the OEACP Council of Ministers, representing Téte António, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

According to Domingos Custódio Vieira Lopes, the Republic of Angola has greater responsibilities as it currently holds the presidency of the Organisation and will do everything it can to reinforce the idea of 3 continents, 3 oceans, a common destiny, a resilient and durable OEACP.

Among the priorities of Angola's strategy, Domingos Custódio Vieira Lopes highlighted the institutionalisation of an annual meeting of the Troika of the OEACP Summit of Heads of State and Government, the institutionalisation of a bi-annual meeting on natural resources, oil and its derivatives, as well as the organisation of a meeting of the speakers of national parliaments next year in Luanda.

During the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Domingos Custódio Vieira Lopes presented the report of the Ministerial Committee for Development Finance Cooperation, which approved the resource mobilisation strategy for the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States.

The Angolan delegation includes His Excellency Mário de Azevedo Constantino, Angola's Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union, Álves Primo, Itinerant Ambassador, Coordinator for activities in support of the OEACP National Focal Point, as well as technicians from Mirex.
