Since 4 November 2021, the Consular Sector of the Angolan Embassy in Belgium has been issuing identity cards to Angolan citizens living in Belgium and Luxembourg.

To this end, a multi-sectoral commission was on a mission to Belgium as part of the programme to massify civil registration and identification in the diaspora.

During its stay, the commission held video conferences with members of the Angolan community living in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The video conference served to exchange information on the process of mass registration and civil identification in the diaspora.

Once the doubts had been cleared up, Angolan citizens living in Belgium and Luxembourg were invited by the commission to go to the consulate for the necessary registration procedures, such as identity cards, criminal records, etc., etc.
